DEADLINE: June 1, 2010 LITIGATION BOUTIQUE LAW FIRM Position: Litigation Support Part-time position to be filled immediately (will continue through the academic year) Firm description: We are a leading law firm specializing in litigation, including commercial litigation. Our lawyers have appeared at all levels of the Ontario and Federal courts and the Supreme Court of Canada. Our firm is located on the Bloor subway line in the west end of Toronto. Position: Litigation Support The successful applicant will participate in a litigation support role and assist us in preparing for several upcoming trials. In particular, the successful candidate will provide accounting assistance in the quantification of damages or profits. This work will include inputting and analyzing data from a variety of sources, developing analogues for comparison, and projecting lost revenues and profits. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel is required. Experience in forecasting and/or statistics is an asset. Ideally, applicants will have already earned their undergraduate degrees and are pursuing post-graduate qualifications. Remuneration is commensurate with qualifications.
