I’m writing to let you know about a number of volunteer positions being offered for DREAMERS RENEGADES VISIONARIES: The Glenn Gould Variations in the hope that you will share this information with your students in the Applied Math program.
My colleague Cassandra Silver wrote you in July to let you know about The Glenn Gould Variations, a two-day multidisciplinary festival happening September 22nd and 23rd in Convocation Hall at the University of Toronto. The event includes music performances, dance, film, talks, installations, and displays of technological ingenuity.
Volunteer opportunities include ushering, graphic design, web design, social media, production assistance, talent handling and more. Every role is an opportunity to learn in a professional environment and build on skills that are increasingly useful for every industry.
I have attached an information package for volunteers, including bios of our exciting presenters, a letter and application form for volunteers, and a tentative schedule of The Glenn Gould Variations.
