The Ontario Graduate Scholarship has no citizenship restriction,
so most students should consider applying.

Students entering 5th year of PhD studies in 2011-12 can also
apply, unless you have already held 4 years of government
funding, and should seriously consider applying.

An OGS application also allows you to be considered for an
Ontario Graduate Scholarship in Science and Technology, which
are distributed by the department.

The deadline is this Wednesday, October 13th.

The process starts at
https://osap.gov.on.ca/OSAPPortal/en/A-ZListofAid/TCONT003465.html

Students should log-in and apply on-line. Referees should be
provided with the fillable pdf recommendation. Original
transcripts are required for all Canadian and American
universities. If the transcripts are not received by
the deadline, I will make copies of transcripts in student
files till the originals are received. I will provide
certified copies of any foreign transcripts. A hard
copy of the application and all supporting
documents, collected by the applicant in signed, sealed
envelopes, should be brought to my off by 5 p.m. on
Wednesday, October 13th.

If you have any questions, please drop by or e-mail me.

Hope you all have a pleasant Thanksgiving weekend,

                                      Ida
