Getting organized

January can be a busy time. With great conferences (we’re looking at you, Next Steps and Leading Together!), workshops and events happening, now is the perfect time to get organized. There’s lots of great programming to choose from, so do your research and find what works best with your schedule. You’ll be so glad you did!

1. Experience Expo

Discover paid and volunteer experiences that will improve your academic performance and build your resume.

2. Language Exchange kickoff

January 16, 5 p.m.

Centre for International Experience

Share your language and practice a new one in an informal, conversational setting. The kickoff event is a great way to get started.

3. A chance to serve

Nominations open until Jan 17 at 5 p.m.

Governing council oversees academic, business and student affairs at U of T. Nominate a peer for one of eight available positions today.

4. Alternative Reading Week

Register by January 24

Immerse yourself in three days of volunteering on community projects as you make meaningful contributions and learn more about your city.

Register today for February 8

9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Multi-Faith Centre

Discover how YOU learn best. Learn to maintain motivation, achieve your goals, identify effective learning strategies and much more

6. Spirit Singers

Mondays, 6 – 8 p.m.

Centre for International Experience

Join a choral ensemble that celebrates diversity and intercultural understanding. Accepting new members until the end of January!
