Summer Research Exchange Program (SREP)
SREP is an exciting opportunity for undergraduate students to gain hands-on research experience at partner institutions worldwide while working towards their University of Toronto degree requirements.
TRAVEL: Successful applicants travel to one of 25+ partner institutions worldwide to work on research based on their discipline, research interests, and general preferences. For students in Mathematics, opportunities are available at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong, Technical University Darmstadt, École Polytechnique, École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Korean Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, Technical University of Munich, University of Graz, and more!
RESEARCH: Research placements are for full time placements for 8-12 weeks between May-August 2020. Outside of research, students can also explore the local area, travel, and join in local activities.
APPLY: Find partner institutions, check application procedures, and apply through the Learning Abroad website. The application deadline for most Summer 2020 opportunities is December 3, 2019.
