PhD Thesis Title: On C1-rigidity for maps with a break point
Thesis Abstract:
The thesis consists of two main results. The first main result that
comprises this thesis is a proof that C1 rigidity holds for maps
with a break point for almost all rotation numbers. The second main
result that comprises this thesis is a proof that C1 robust
rigidity holds for maps in the fractional linear transformation (FLT)
pair family. That is, for this family, C1 rigidity holds for all
irrational rotation numbers.
